PHIL ELLIN, a North Shore native, has been involved with nature photography for over 25 years.
He has been the recipient of many photographic awards and his work has been published in various textbooks and magazines.
Mr. Ellin's photograph of a "Vermont Scene" won the grand prize in the former Boston Globe's supplement, "Metroguide's Fall Foliage Contest." His photograph of "Portland Head Light" was selected for the cover of a past Danforth Marine Catalog. Many of his photographs are hanging in private homes throughout the country and professional offices in the Greater Boston area.
Mr. Ellin has also taught adult education courses
in Nature Photography and has conducted photographic workshops. He has
had numerous successful one-man exhibits at Harvard University.
His purpose is to bring the natural world to the forefront by means of his photographs.
One of his major objectives is to show the beauty that lies in nature and
its creatures.
Phil currently lives in Winthrop, MA with his wife Sue and
their Old English Sheepdog, Sherlock. |
